Drawing 114 is one of a series of over 200 Drawings developed by Sullivan. The drawings range from Drawing 001 whilst Sullivan studied architecture in London (1989-1992) to Drawing 215 (2016).
Drawing 114 is the largest work in the series and was developed as a ‘time-drawing’ for 9-23 Roscoe Lane (STATIC’s base from 1998 – present). The drawing speculates on a series of future constructions and interventions on the site of the building.
The drawing series sequence Sullivan’s explorations on the location of architecture (between drawing and building) to the incorporation of code and mental mapping.
